Working for a world that is more respectful of people and the environment, Jallatte has been committed for several years to a vast CSR plan called J-Clean, which is embodied by :
- The relocation of part of the production of our safety shoes in the historical factory of Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort
- The valorization of local know-how
- The implementation of a responsible purchasing policy
To fight against global warming and the natural disasters it causes, the United Nations' watchword is clear: REDUCE GHG* EMISSIONS by 45% by 2030
According to the United Nations, achieving carbon neutrality requires 3 concrete actions :
- Measuring our carbon footprint
- Reducing our carbon footprint
- Offset what we have not yet managed to reduce
In order to respond to the climate emergency and to participate in the reduction of greenhouse gases, our Gard-based SME is giving concrete expression to its CSR commitment to J-Clean by creating a new generation of eco-responsible safety shoes: J'respect.
Today, by analyzing the complete life cycle of our products, we can evaluate that a traditional safety shoe represents no less than 15kg of CO2 per pair.
Our CSR commitments and the creation of the J'respect collection have enabled Jallatte to reduce the CO2 emissions of a pair of safety shoes by an average of 6Kg, i.e. a carbon footprint reduced by approximately 40%!
To reach carbon neutrality, the last pillar of our approach is compensation.
Through the United Nations, companies committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions can offset their footprint by financing projects that will capture CO2 emissions or that take little or no carbon from fossil fuels.
To participate in the reduction of these emissions, Jallatte has chosen to contribute to a renewable energy production project in Laos, from a hydroelectric dam allowing :
- Energy self-sufficiency
- The non-use of carbon for a "clean" energy
Thanks to our J-Clean approach and our complete Measurement/ Reduction/ Compensation cycle, the J'respect collection can claim 0 Kg of CO2 per pair.
Developed in collaboration with BASF, this sole is made from 100% renewable materials and without fossil resources. This is the Biomass Balance approach. The new generation PU of the J'respect insole comes from recycling and fermentation of organic waste.

MAXI-SOFT DUO™ INSOLES
MAXI-Soft Duo™ is an innovative compensated insole design specifically for extended standing positions.
It combines both a clean insole and a comfort layer directly in contact with the sole of the foot.
This removable comfort insole is made of 2 materials :
- A "SOFT" layer of Dynamic Biomass Balance polyurethane from BASF® with shape memory, thermosensitive and active on the entire surface of the foot.
Directly under the sole of the foot, "SOFT" improves weight distribution by reducing pressure points and the feeling of discomfort. - An integrated "MAXI" size anti-fatigue insert made of BASF® Elastopan Biomass Balance, an elastomer used in anti-fatigue mats.
Placed under the welcome layer, this MAXI insert allows to cushion, to relieve the body stress in prolonged standing, walking or trampling and thus to reduce the risks of TMS (musculoskeletal disorders) of the lower limbs.
- Suitable for jobs that require prolonged standing
- Progressive and prolonged cushioning when walking and a return of energy when pushing for a guaranteed anti-fatigue effect
- Relieves body stress and reduces the risk of RSI in the lower limbs
- Lightweight thanks to its 100% composite materials
- Upper and sole assembly made in France
- Environmentally friendly (certified Zero Carbon)
- Industry : automotive, aeronautics, mechanics, logistics, pharmaceutical and chemical
- Second work - Craftsmen
- Logistics
- Sales - Distribution
- Administration – Services
